Early Access. SumiCAD 0.6 and SumiCAD Cloud are an Early Access release: features may change, bugs are expected, and availability is not guaranteed. We run no extra backups of our own during Early Access, so keep your own copies of important files. A qualified architect (建築士) checks every result (Terms, Article 9).

For the paid service SumiCAD Cloud (subscription for firms). The SumiCAD desktop app is free and is not sold.

Price	SumiCAD Cloud: ¥1,000 per month per firm including one editor; ¥500 per month for each extra editor. Viewers and clients are free. All prices include consumption tax. The amount is shown again on the final confirmation screen before payment.
Other costs	Internet connection and data charges are paid by the customer. The optional AI assistant is paid by the firm directly to the AI company it chooses.
Payment method	Credit card or debit card, through Stripe.
When payment is taken	Monthly, in advance. When subscribing during the 15-day free trial, the first payment is taken when the trial ends; otherwise on the day of subscribing. Then automatically every month on the same day until cancelled. Adding or removing an editor changes the amount from the next invoice (prorated by Stripe).
When the service starts	Immediately after the payment is set up. The 15-day free trial starts when the firm is created.
Cancellation	The firm's Owner can cancel at any time, without a cancellation fee: on the subscription page (app.sumicad.com/subscription), choose to manage the payment and cancel the subscription on the Stripe customer page. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period already paid: the service continues until then and no further payment is taken. After that the firm becomes read-only for 90 days so that everything can be downloaded; nothing is deleted at once. The data is then deleted (see the Terms of Service, Article 7). The cooling-off system does not apply to online (mail-order) contracts; cancellation follows the rules on this page.
Refunds	Because the service is provided digitally from the start of each period, fees for a monthly period that has already started are not refunded, in whole or in part, including when you cancel or remove an editor during the period. Nothing is charged during the free trial. Exceptions: a charge made by mistake (for example a double charge, or a charge after the cancellation took effect) is refunded in full, and where we are responsible under the law (for example the Cloud could not be used for a long time for reasons attributable to us), we refund or credit as the law requires. Please write to the e-mail address above. Your rights under the Consumer Contract Act and other laws are not affected.
Operating environment	Web app: a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Desktop app: Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit).
Special conditions	15-day free trial for a new firm, no card needed to start. SumiCAD is still in development and may contain errors: every result (drawings, structure and law checks, quantities, estimates, permit sets) must be checked by a qualified architect (建築士), who stays responsible for the design and the permit application.
